I'm pretty thankful right now for lazy Sunday afternoons with a nice breeze through the house. All is quiet on the home front and hopefully it stays that way today!
A load of towels in the washer, dirty dishes in the dishwasher and a big pot of red beans in the crock pot should make my day a little easier today.
My Grandma Hennis always said "Sew on Sunday, rip on Monday". She was full of sayings like that that none of us understood at the time. I find her quote on sewing (or knitting) to be pretty true, though. It never fails if I get a lot of knitting done on Sunday that I have to frog back to a dropped stitch or I mess up my lace repeat count.
So I'll kick back today, have my red beans and rice today instead of Monday and just enjoy! Hope you are too!
