Thought I would try something new today called Friday's Feast. Sort of gets a person thinking about the 'what if's' in life.
Appetizer - Name something that makes you scream.
Something that makes me want to scream is stupid people! I know there are some who really don’t know any better, but please,,,it only takes a little bit of common sense to know that if the temperature outside is 32 degrees, a child is going to need a coat and hat! If your little one is running a fever, coughing and sneezing, don’t drag him/her along with you whilst you visit all you buddies. If the sign says ‘No left turn’ for gawd’s sake don’t sit there with your left turn signal on expecting everyone to let you through.
Wow, don’t know where all that came from, but I feel better now!
Soup - Who is a musician you enjoy listening to when you want to relax?
There are several I enjoy, Sade, Eric Clapton, Celine Dion, Yanni (yes, I know, very weird combination!)
Salad - What was the last book you purchased?
Technically, "PHP-NUKE Garage" by Don Jones
Main Course - If you could live one day as any historical figure, who would it be, and what would you do?
If I had only one day to live with any historical figure, I think I would want to spend it with Adolph Hitler as a youth. Do you ever think it would/could be possible to change a person by changing one event in their life? What if Hitler had made it into art school in Vienna? Would he have been a great artist instead of a killer?
Dessert - Tell about a time when you were lost. Where did you end up? How long did it take you to get back to where you were going?
I remember being in a small town in Japan a few years ago and left the hotel to go out to find some dinner. Now small towns in Japan don’t have street names, and after wandering around trying to find a place to get something cooked to eat, when it came time to go back to the hotel, I hadn’t the foggiest idea where it was! To make matters worse, I couldn’t remember the name of the hotel, either. A few hours later I luckily stumbled across another American and between us, we figured out what/where the hotel was. I learned a valuable lesson that day; when leaving the hotel, take a matchbook with the name and address. At least if you get lost, you can hail a taxi and show them the matchbook and you will be instantly delivered to your hotel door!!
