I saw this quote on someone's page and it immediately struck me as one of the truest statements I have heard about loss.
"The reality is that you will grieve forever. You will not 'get over' the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it. You will heal and you will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered. You will be whole again but you will never be the same. Nor should you be the same, nor should you want to."

We will all suffer a loss someday if you haven't already. We may want to believe our loved ones are immortal but that just isn't true. Treat every person you love like it's the last day they will be on Earth because it just might be!
