I hate our front door. Specifically, I don't like the full length window beside the door. It's not that I don't like the window itself, but what you really can't see is the covering of said window. It is covered by a paper, pleated shade. This was on the window when we bought the house and I've finally gotten sick enough of it to really want to do something about it.
So, the question is, what do I do with it? I'm open for suggestions. If you suggest something, make sure you include instructions or a link at least on how to do it. (I'm not the most crafty person living.) I want to maintain our privacy (since this door faces the street) but still want some sunlight to come through.
One solution I was thinking of was taking a lace curtain (or a big enough piece of lace to cover the glass) and mod podging it to the glass. I've never done anything like this, so I'm not real sure if this is realistic or not.
Okay all you smart, crafty, artistic friends, people of the internet, or anyone who has an idea, I'm open for suggestions!
