In the majority of households across America the male half spends the weekend watching football. Not so in our household. I'm the one who follows college football on Saturdays like white on rice! This week my Ohio State Buckeyes are ranked #8 in the nation!!! I won't go into a long, drawn out scenario about who has to win and who has to lose for them to make the playoffs, but it IS possible! Only time (and a few more wins) will tell!!
On Sunday the NFL captures my attention. I lived in Ohio for many, many years and have been a Cleveland Browns fan for a very long time. Now I live in Houston and follow the Texans (and JJ Watt). This Sunday they will play each other in Cleveland. It's a win/win for me. I'm hoping the Browns win since they are in 1st place in their division!
Another thing that is backward at our house are blue jeans! Most shared closets in America have more women's clothes than men's. But,,,you guessed it, not ours! My hubby mentioned that we needed to update our wardrobes. On my part I say yes, I probably do, but I totally hate to shop! I have a few outfits that are my 'go-to' clothes for going out and several pair of jeans that I wear daily. Since I retired I really haven't felt the need to have a closet full of clothes. Hubby, on the other hand, utilizes about 3/4 of our closet! As I was putting laundry away I decided to check his side. He has 45 pair of just blue jeans!!! He could wear a new pair every day for 6 weeks and never have to do laundry or wear the same pair twice! I'm not sure how much more updating that man needs to do!
