A typical man would never agree that shrinkage is a good thing.
However, I'm not typical nor am I a man!
Tests results from yesterday show that my tumor has been reduced in size by 5 mm. That doesn't sound like a lot and I sure wish it were more, but I'll take it! At least the tumor hasn't grown or decided to migrate to any other part of my body.
Two of the lymph nodes involved have been decreased in size by half, so I take that as a good sign too!
The radiation doctor will be calling in the next week to schedule daily radiation along with weekly chemo.
I'm sick of being sick and I just want to get better as soon as I can. We've got a lot more traveling to do and sites to see.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who has sent prayers and good wishes my way. Looks like they are working.
A VERY special thank you to a lady and her gent from over San Anton way for the visit last weekend. It was good to see you and thanks for all the goodies.
I can't talk very well or for long because the tumor is pinching the nerve to my vocal cords, but if anyone wants to text or email jump on in! I told Kevin I need a little loudspeaker to use but so far he has failed to find one,,,or rather failed to look for one might be more like it! *S*
