I planted two little tomato plants this spring, hoping to get a few tomatoes for the table. Little did I know that Texas would have the worst drought in 50 years and I would have to baby the plants to even get them to live!
The plants have not only survived but surpassed expectations! We have been eating (and enjoying) tomatoes for a few weeks. We've even had enough to share with the neighbors!
This morning I picked quite a few tomatoes from one plant.
This evening we enjoyed our Bruschetta for dinner!
