In a shady corner outside our kitchen window a group of hostas quietly sit, growing each year without any coaxing or pleading.
Each year they provide us with their lovely purple flowers on long spikes. The flowers don't last long so it's a good thing that the leaves of the plant are such a deep green that they in themselves are pretty to look at!
I love plants that do their thing all by themself without any help from me!!!
