Now this may seem like a strange title for a recipe, but if you are expecting a big crowd for a summer outing, this should just about take care of any size crowd! Just make sure to get started cooking way ahead of time
Elephant Stew
- 1 Elephant (medium size)
- 2 rabbits (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Cut the elephant into bite size pieces. (This might take about 2 months unless you have some help!) Add enough brown gravy to cover. Cook over a kerosene fire about 4 weeks at 465 degrees. This will serve about 3,800 people. If more people are expected, add the 2 rabbits - but only if necessary; most people don't care to find hare in their stew!
