I'm a chocolate lover and when I'm feeling low or "down in the dumps" nothing makes me feel better than eating something chocolate and gooey. This recipe is easy to make, guaranteed to make ya smile! Eat it warm from the oven with a scoop of ice cream! It works wonders!!!!
Down In The Dumps Pudding
Beat together:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 4 T cocoa
Stir in:
- 1 cup milk
- 4 T vegetable oil
- 2 cups chopped nuts (optional)
Spread mixture in ungreased 9x13 inch pan.
Blend in a small bowl:
- 2 cups brown sugar (packed)
- 1/2 cup cocoa
Sprinkle over top of batter.
Pour over all: 3 1/2 cups hot water.
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
