This is supposed to be a non-partisan web site. I haven't checked out all the candidates yet, but so far it's fair.
At last, we have some spring-type weather in Ohio!! Yippee!!! Of course, it's supposed to get colder and rain for the weekend. Wouldn't ya know it, one weekend I don't have to work and it's gonna be shitty!
So much war news and candidate news lately, my brain is beginning to fog over.
This article made me come to attention! Wonder if they surveyed every adult or just their customers?
For all of our plumber friends out there, you might want to think twice about working in Louisiana!
As reported by the New York Times. The ABC News program "Nightline" will broadcast Friday night the names and faces of every soldier killed by hostile fire since the start of the war in Iraq. Ted Koppel will deliver a brief introduction before reading the more than 530 names, as photographs and captions with the ages and hometowns of the dead appear on the screen. Mr. Sievers, executive producer of Nightline, denied the program carried any political message. "There is no intended political statement," Mr. Sievers said. "If that was the intention, we would spell it out." Entitled "The Fallen," the special "Nightline" broadcast use photographs supplied by the website www.MilitaryCity.com.
Elastic WAISTBAND??? Gawd, where was my brain when I thunk up that one?? Even though that is the most comfortable attire in the world!!
Pretty typical Monday; a note from the preschool telling me I need to set up a conference time. Gotta love it,,,NOT! It seems I am harboring a 5 year old terrorist; he hides behind doors and attacks other parents as they drop off their children in the morning. Maybe I need to ask George W to go to the conference with me; he might have some solutions!
"The President is merely the most important among a large number of public servants. He should be supported or opposed exactly to the degree which is warranted by his good conduct or bad conduct, his efficiency or inefficiency in rendering loyal, able, and disinterested service to the nation as a whole. Therefore it is absolutely necessary that there should be full liberty to tell the truth about his acts, and this means that it is exactly as necessary to blame him when he does wrong as to praise him when he does right. Any other attitude in an American citizen is both base and servile. To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public. Nothing but the truth should be spoken about him or any one else. But it is even more important to tell the truth, pleasant or unpleasant, about him than about any one else."

When I say I support our Troops but NOT their commander-in-chief, I guess I'm not the only one who has felt that way.
Why all the hoopla about the photos shown of the cost (in human life) of oil today? Showing America pictures of flag drapped coffins coming home for their final rest isn't something that should be censored. I remember watching TV when flag drapped coffins were taken off of airplanes arriving back in the USA from Vietnam. I can't think of a more solemn and respectful way to forever welcome them home than watching six uniformed servicemen carrying them back to us. Granted, EVERYONE would have preferred they walked off of that plane, but to secretly smuggle them back into the country as if we are ashamed of them just doesn't cut it in my book.
Your dominant hues are cyan and green. Although you definately strive to be logical you care about people and know there's a time and place for thinking emotionally. Your head rules most things but your heart rules others, and getting them to meet in the middle takes a lot of your energy some days.
Your saturation level is very high - you are all about getting things done. The world may think you work too hard but you have a lot to show for it, and it keeps you going. You shouldn't be afraid to lead people, because if you're doing it, it'll be done right.
Your outlook on life is very bright. You are sunny and optimistic about life and others find it very encouraging, but remember to tone it down if you sense irritation.
